Anyone have a clue why someone would hide their porch with a shitty tarp besides DRUGS?

Wind or sun barrier. I know a lot of people with porches that hang shades of some sort.

Its simple really, they are attempting to cut down on the amount of cold radiating in through windows and blowing in through cracks.Not everyone can afford to live in grandeur and they are just trying to survive somewhat comfortably during this snowthulu of a stormy year.
